A memorial book holds the most private things a person owns. This page says exactly what we hold, why, and what we will never do with it.
We do not sell anything to anyone. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, no analytics company watching you read. Nobody but you and the people you share your link with can open your book.

What you tell us when you claim a book — your email address, your Amazon order number, and the name and dates of the person you are remembering, together with the photograph you choose for the cover.
What you put in the book afterwards — photographs, voice recordings, and everything you write.

That is all. There is no profile, no advertising identifier, and nothing bought from anyone else.
The book records a little about how it is behaving, so we can tell when something is going wrong before you have to tell us — a save that failed, a photograph that would not upload, a page too large to store.
It records structure, never content. Which page, how many items, how large a file was, what error occurred. It cannot record a name, a sentence or a photograph: our server accepts only a fixed list of measurements and discards anything else, so the words in your book physically cannot reach it.
It also notes when a page is opened or edited, so we can see which parts of the book people find useful. There is no third-party analytics service involved, and this information is not linked to you beyond the book it belongs to.
The book keeps a copy of itself in your browser's storage so it works quickly and keeps going if your connection drops. That is not a tracking cookie, it is not shared with anyone, and clearing your browser data removes it — your book stays safe on our side.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We would disclose something only if the law required it.
In private storage, never on a public address, and reachable only through short-lived links created when your book is open. Guessing a web address will not find anybody's photographs.
Your book stays for as long as you want it. Technical records are kept for a limited period and then deleted — they are only useful while a problem is recent. If you ask us to delete your book, we delete the contents, the photographs and the recordings.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your information, and we will honour them. Ask us and we will explain plainly what we hold.
Books often contain photographs and recordings of living people. You are the one who decides what goes in, so please only add what you have the right to add. If someone believes they appear in a book and would rather not, they can write to us and we will look into it.
Still With Me is intended for adults. Children may well appear in a family tree or a photograph; the adult who claimed the book is responsible for what is included.
If we change anything meaningful here we will update this page and note the date at the top.
