Where do I buy a lantern?
On Amazon. Choose a lantern and design on this site and the button takes you to that lantern's Amazon page, where you can see the current price and delivery date.
Can I send it straight to the person grieving?
Yes. Enter their address at the Amazon checkout. It arrives in a gift box with a sympathy card, so it does not need wrapping.
What size photograph does it take?
A standard 4×6 inch print. It slides in behind the candle.
Is there a real flame?
No. The candle is a flickering LED, with a remote control. Batteries are included.
What is the difference between the wood and metal lanterns?
The wood lantern has a wood body and a copper or black crown, and is the fuller of the two. The metal lantern has a slimmer frame in black or white. Both have the same three designs, the photo slot, the drawer and the free memory book.
Which design should I choose?
Those We Love suits any loss. Mom is written for the loss of a mother. Family Tree is often chosen for a grandparent, or anyone at the centre of a family.
How do returns work?
Through Amazon, under Your Orders, the same as anything else bought there.
Still With Me
What is Still With Me?
A digital memory book for the person who died. It opens with their name and photograph on the cover, and has pages for their life story, family tree, the things they used to say, favourite things, photographs and voice recordings.
How do I get the free book that comes with a lantern?
Scan the card inside the lantern box, or go to book.still-wind.com/claim. You'll need the Amazon order number, their name and dates, one photograph and your email.
What is the difference between the free book and the $29.99 book?
They are the same book. The free book that comes with a lantern has limits on how many photographs, recordings and entries can be added; it can be opened fully at any time for $19.99. The $29.99 book, bought on its own, has no limits from the start.
Is it a subscription?
No. Whatever you pay, you pay once. Nothing renews.
Can several people write in the same book?
Yes. Share the editing link with the family. Anyone with that link can add to the book, so share it only with people you trust. There is a separate read-only link for everyone else.
What happens if I lose the link?
Write to info@still-wind.com from the email address the book was made with, and we will send it again.
Can I keep my own copy?
Yes. The book has a download button that saves a complete copy, with every photograph and recording, to your own device. We encourage you to use it.
Can a book be deleted?
Yes. Write to us from the email address the book was made with. Download a copy first, because a deleted book cannot be recovered.
Can I get a refund on the book?
All book sales are final, because the book is digital and opens as soon as it is paid for. If you were charged by mistake, for example twice, write to info@still-wind.com and we will refund the mistaken payment.
